you can order a LCD on a rancher s and how much do you think it would cost it i order it like that? PLEASE INFO!

 

The cost is probaly around $200, that what it cost on the 450

 

The LCD will not work on the S modle because it does not have the ESP computer, and all the sensors that come with the ES modles.
If you get the LCD off the Foreman S with the speed sensor and if you can put the speed sensor on the Rancher S, then it may work.

Your telling me that the S doenst have a speedo/odo? that is kinda cheap

 

I contacted the dealer yesterday & he told me that the S does have the spedo, however the Honda literature & web site state differently.

 

The dealer you talked to is incorrect. What you read is correct. The S model Rancher does not have the LCD or a speedo, it just has the 3 standard lights(Neutral, Reverse, and oil temp) like the old 300's. I wish Honda would put the LCD on the S Rancher, but I guess they are tring to save money.
I would spend a little extra money for the LCD. I guess Honda thinks different.

The S model does not come with a speedo. You can purchase it seperately for 200.00. It will install on the S. It does not use the ESP. All speed calculations are taken from the drive shaft.
