Now that I am ready to buy everyhting for my buildup...... Bought my cam...

Then I called rockymountainatv to order my 440 kit..... When I called them they told me that they were out of them...

SO NOW I GOTTA FIND THE BEST DEAL ON A 440KIT... let me know what other place I can get them for a good price....

I got mine directly though the wiseco book. 229.00 that included freight. 60.00 to have it sleaved and decked.

 

what do you mean by decked ?????? It's my first time installing a bigbore kit...

BTW: do they have to modify the head in any way when puting a 440 ?????? I was thinking that the head was designed to be used with a smaller piston......

Call 1-800-392-0940 thats the texas dist. center. The parts you need are 4667ps and 3052fa and w5734. Thats the piston, sleave and gasket set. Decking is when after they pull your old sleave and put the new one in. They have to machine just a little off of the gasket surfice on the cylinder to make sure it's perfectly flat. And no the head will be fine.Make sure that you ask the prices since it seems they always go up. Make sure that you take the cyl to someone good or bad things happen. And also remember to make sure the ring gap is perfect, file if needed

 

I ended up ordering with magic racing. They sell it for 229$

both motoman(224$) and rockymountain(209$) were out of them and this is the best price I found. I had to order friday cuz I needed this kit asap...

Oh well!

Btw: I am also looking for the best deal on an E-series WB slip on Anybody knows where to get them for less ?????
