Anyone out there ever strapped nitrous on there 400 befor? I have seen 2 raptors with it and they said it was a rush. I am thinking about it but am unsure. Just looking for any info or tips you guys have. And what size shot u put on it? Probsbly a pretty low number but anyways any help or comments will be appretiate. thxs

 

Ok then new question... has anyone ever riden a quad wth nitrous? if so what did you think and what type of quad was it?

 

I've ridden my buddies stock motored, E-Series full full piped, NOS (12 hp shot) 400EX. I had a IMS 12.5:1, XR400 cam, ported, full DMC 400EX and he could keep up with me in a drag race. In fact our ET times at the drag strip were the same. When he first installed the NOS he was having problems with bottle pressure but was fixed after purchasing a bottle warmer. He is now in the process of building a 440, cammed, ported, Carrillo rod, h/d cam chain, hardened rockers that should be able to handle a 17 hp shot of NOS.
