I said cast has higher content of silicone for greater strength, not that it is stronger than forged.
Silicone is harder to machine.
most cast pistons have like ~11 to 13% content.
There are companies that cast pistons with a higher silicone content, between ~14 to 17. But machine technol;ogy has to be up to date. CBN tooling etc..

like the nut said it is a age old argument.
I did point out the different expansion contraction rates. No one seemed to understand the materials involved are different and there rates of exp/contraction are different.
So the fact remains that none of us know, its all preference.
I'm sorry I pushed my opinion to far, but it is my opinion. and opinions are like a$$, well you know the rest.

I asked mickey dunlap this question, I hope he replies to it.
I simply asked him which is better in a 2 stroke, I hope he answers.
