why are these things so high in price?i just dont see it guys i work with alum. everyday its not that hard to fabicrate something out of it.there is some company's charging 200 bucks for a alum. airbox.thats out of this world i cant believe ppl pay that.

HMMMM maybe i should start fabbing some up and sell them [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I know what you mean bermbanger! I was looking at some air scoops for my 300, and they go for like $60! So I went out to my garage, took some cardboard and scissors, and made a template of a scoop that fits and looks better than ones you can buy. Now all I've got to do this afternoon, is cut the aluminum and bend it like the template, and I've got my scoops! A sheet of aluminum costs like $10, and I'm still going to have some left over. My friend liked the idea so much, that he did it to his Blaster too! I'll post pics as soon as I get the scoops mounted.

theres 2 guys at the exriders forum that make aluminum airboxes and they sell em much cheaper than pingrys
