I am not very knowledgable when it comes to ATV's. I have a 1998 300EX and the back axle has a lot of play in it, so much to the point it will actually bind up. Do I need a new swing arm or is there some bearings that can be replaced in the swing arm housing? I guess what I am trying to ask is the swing arm and bearings all in one or is it seperate? Thanks.

The bearings are in a carrier seperate from the swingarm. Bearing failures are common on these machines. A set of bearings and seals will run you from 50 to 80 dollars, depending on where you buy them.
