Another question about my ATC.

I just put my ATC back together again. The noise from the lower rod bearing sounds like it did before I tore it apart to put in the new piston/rings and I rode it like that for a few months. My question is, how bad will it be to run it like this? There are quite a few people interested in it and they want to take it for a test ride before they buy it, just to make sure it shifts through the gears and stuff. Will it ruin anything else if ran for a couple minutes? I wouldn't really care but if someone rides it and then decides they don't want it, but something else goes wrong with it, I'll be stuck with the repair bill.

Anyone? Another problem, my clutch doesn't work now. It has to be out of adjustment or something. When I took the cable out something must have got undjusted, anyone have an idea of what it was?

you can adjust the cable at either end by turning the nut, if that don't help you should double check the internals of the clutch and make sure everything is ok, I missed your other post about your bottem end, but if the bearing is bad it should be replaced, as for running it with a bad bearing?, I would not do it, if the bearing fails you could have some major damage. I would not sell it if I were you, 3 wheelers are what started it all, and there are not a lot of them left, the always get a second look from people. hope this helps.

I didn't want to sell it but I am. I'll still get to ride it when it fixed and I'll pick up another one in a few years, if I can find one. I tried adjusting the cable on both ends. Before I tore it apart, the clutch worked fine. I don't know what was up with it but my Uncle is buying it and he should know how to fix it. Thanks for the help though.
