i have an 86 250r and i purchased a esrtrx5 pipe and silencer. everything fits well except the connection from the motor to the first part of the pipe. it just sits on there crooked. i've tried adjusting the pipe so it fits better but it still sits crooked. has anyone else have the same problem and will buying the esr exhaust flange solve it?

it doesnt neccesarily have to be the esr flange, but i think changing teh flange would be a good solution.. i ran into this problem while installing a CT pipe... i ended up getting one of teh CF Performance flanges they have on Ebay and that did teh trick.. pipe slipped on like butter and met snug with teh flange.. and even if this doesnt fix the problem at least youve replaced the stock one which tends to leak blow-by exhaust... another thing i did( because i bought my pipe used) was to take a small flathead screwdriver and try t oscrape away any residue on teh inside of the pipe.... good luck
