well do you not understand what a locker is in this case there is plate's you put in the diff so they don't slip meaning you will have "true 4wd" all 4 wheels will always have the same power to them unlike the factory diff that stop's the wheels or wheel that isn't hooking up well there for useing the engine's power to the more useful wheels at the time the one's with the most traction the locker system is good haveing that power to all your wheels will you control the power by shifting your body wight into the side or end of the quad that's not hooking up
