Favorite Quad?
#2
I don't have any favorites that would fit my over-all needs.
I do have preferences in each category though. Because there are so many, I wont go to any details, but those who own these machines know why. Some of these categories are my own.
Work: Kawasaki 650 Prairie [work while hauling a@@: Grizzly660]
Hunting: Honda ForemanES
Recreation 2WD:Honda RancherES [small bore: Suzuki Ozark250]
Racing: Cannondale Cannibal
Sport: Honda 400EX
For my daughter: Yamaha Raptor80
As you can see, I am more undecided than any other guy on this forum. When you fool with all of them day in and day out, you want all the features on one machine. The problem is that no such quad exists.

I personally just bought a Kawasaki Prairie 650. I was torn between that and a Polaris Sportsman 700. I really got to read some in-depth materials about the Sportsman today and as it turns out, I am glad that I did not get it. Polaris owners who have recently acquired this huge beast actually preferred their 500 HO's over it. Speaking of which, that Remington Edition would sure be nice for hunting and its finish does not scratch. But my ego had me get the 650 for the out-of-the-hole speed. I also bought the camo coverings so it will still look good during the Fall. Both machines are fine ATV's but the 650 met my needs a little better. But get a look at the new Honda Rincon. Now that is a nice looking ATV. The masses will either really love it or really hate its looks. Me personally, I think it looks great. I hope its not as fast as my 650 though.

It wasn't a Quad because they were not here yet. I would have to say my very first one. My 1969 navy blue/silver Honda Mini Trail 50. The shop where I purchased it had a rock floor. I was so excited about it that as time goes on it becomes the legend that lives within me and it was my youth.
