If you go to the cutomize button you can set up custom colors and make it so you can have upto 100 topics per page, I set mine up so there is 100 per page and 100 threads per topic page cause i got sick of the next 20 thing.

If somebody was ambitious, they could throw some FAQ pages together for quads in general, and specific models. It would be a good addition to any serious ATV site and it would draw viewers. DaveB, are you listening???

But then what would we have to talk about if we couldn't keep asking "which quad is better, x or y?" or if we couldn't keep telling people that "our quad is better than their quad"?

I know sometimes it gets a bit repetitive, but by asking the questions again and again it gives new people a chance to have their say.

Some of these questions are just stupid like the ones about how fast are Z400’s or all these questions about a 750EX. It would be wise to have a chart that told every quads top speed so we could stop all the flaming about how fast things go, it's just annoying.

AlaskaYFM made a great point about some FAQ pages, that way we could get rid of these questions that are constantly asked just lock that topic and tell them to go to the FAQ section. I think more moderators are needed here to help with all this stuff. This is a great site but the constant repetitive questions get old, like "Which is better 300EX or Warrior" Or "which pipe" Just my 2 cents.

If someone was ambitious, they would make this site faster so that it isn't so annoying waiting untold minutes for the advertisements at the top of the page to load.

I finally broke down and got a cable modem. This or DSL connections make things so much easier on this site. Pages load in 1-2 seconds literally and the search feature is fast enough it's no big deal! If you can get it, do, it's more than worth it.

chavychav, I did the same thing, and most of the time it ismuch better, but this site does tend to get really slow sometimes, even with DSL.

I agree. The DSL is only faster than the motem on occasion.
I still haven't figured out the pattern yet. It might go two weeks with no probs. And then, out of the blue, this site is so damn slow, that I could take a nap between pages. It does it even at midnight when there was only 7 users logged in!!
What's the time pattern that you guys have noticed? Or is there one?
