Killer250r, Do you think that is the answer? sell a new machine and take the $ loss? is that fair? I disagree. Hangbellies paid for a new fourwheeler, He got a headache. What would you do?

Me and everybody else on this forum got screwed by Honda back in 1986. Honda did not step into the ring when the Public Saftey groups put pressure on the government that a year latter put an end to the 3wheeler. Honda made a ton of money off us loyal 3wheelers and would not use any of that money to fight for or rights.

Um i beleave i told you what i would do......SELL IT!
Did I say it was fair? No but if I did point it out. So hookem do you have an option on what he could do or do you just not like my opinion?
Things like this will turn into a money pit. Honda is not going to extend his warrenty so what do you expect him to do just keep fixing it over and over? If he sells it now it is still worth something. If he rides it for a year or so then something goes and it's 2G to fix do you really think it's worth it to repair out of his own pocket?

My family has been buying honda quads and bikes since before i was born, and have baught 3 in the past two years and have no trouble out of them at all, and our local honda dealer treats us like family, I'd say that rancher may have had a real rough life in the 20 miles it has been riden, that could be part of whats going on.

First, No I don't like your opinion because your missing the point. You act as though it's alright and normal to get screwed. maybe you enjoy it, but I sure wouldn't. Hangbellies paid for a new forwheeler, therefore he should recieve a working piece of equipment, not a piece of $hit! My opinion for Honda is that they should step up to the plate and back up their product, not drag feet till the warranty is up so he's out of luck. My opinion for Hangbellies is to hang in there, get information from the good people on this forum to help out. I'm sure someone has a phonenumber or an email address for a Honda Rep to help this situation out. It makes no sense to sell a new fourwheeler for a loss when you haven't even put 20 hours on it!

Hey hangbellies, i understand where your coming from. but sounds like your saying that ALL hondas are bad... dont go off and talk crap about all Honda fourwheelers.. dont get me wrong . i would be mad to. but i would not loose my trust in Honda. i have owned 4 of them and been satisfied with evryone of them.. no problems or anything that I didnt cuase.
O and hookem . what would you do if you were in his situation.
