400ex in the woods
#2
Yes the 400ex rocks in the woods. It is much better to control then the banshee especially on technical hill climbs. Just a tip though, get holeshot tires 23 front 22 rear and change the rear sprocket. This increases your ground clearance and power to ground hook up.

The 400ex is definately better in the woods, according to my banshee friends, and the Banshee is faster in drag races. They're really totally different quads. You should really try to ride em both before u buy one, if your not sure. Good luck.

the banshee is in a different class
i don't really think you can compare a two stroke and a four stroke for woods riding. two stroke are o.k. but be prepared for a lot of clutch work. the ex isn't [i don't think] explosive. i would prefer to call it really smooth.
