You guys have me totally confused. I drag raced a stock scrambler with my stock 2000 300EX this weekend and it was a dead even race on a flat dirt trail. As far as the difference from a 4 stroke 300 to a two stroke 400, the 400 would have more power but they weigh a ton more.
