I just put on my 39 FCR from FTZ Racing and took it to the Oregon dunes today and could not get it to work the way it should,I tried all the jet sizes that FTZ had given me but it bogs taking off in 2nd(1rst is to low) if I dont slip the clutch alot or if Im going up a dune and the rpms drop off and I give it throttle it seems to fall on its face,if the rpms are already up there it works fine.Just wanted to know what other guys were running for jets in their alcohol 400exs.Also I didnt mess with the needle adjustment or the accelerater pump setting.Not overly impressed so far.

Type3.......did you ever resolve your problems and what jetting did you end up with. I've got a FCR41 with the FTZ alky kit and the 465 idles bad and won't start with the starter. I can bump start the machine and it runs good mid through top. I just can't get the thing to start like it should.
