i'm thinkin even the 250rr will be in a blaster type chasis which really sucks but that doesn't mean the engine can't be swapped into something better. the 60hp does seem high tho..its probably being measured at the crank and exxagerated a little.

A powervalved and modified 250 will make 60 on good gas. A KTM 250 dirtbike is 50HP stock. But I'd hate to try an slow it down from Mach 3 with the front drums. Looks like a crock'O excrement.

I'd love it if it were true but seems kinda fishy. There was a story about a race ready 2 stroke by a company called rebel star but I haven't seen anything since. here's the link.

www.off-road.com/atv/Rebel-Star.htm

Why wouldn't they call a magazine for a story to better exposure if they want to get it out there anyway? Like I said, sounds too good to be true. But God I wish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did. Answering machine...how convenient! w/ a 15,000 price tag, it would be no surprise if they went out of business. I understand that to mod up a quad for MX you're gonna spend a lot but COME ON! Why's it so F'ing hard to figure out that a competitvely priced 2 stroke (5-7 grand) w/ a few new trick features for more power like all the newer 4 strokes are getting WOULD BE ON BACK ORDER AFTER ABOUT 2 WEEKS!! Not all 2 stroke racers were used for MX. Tons are still being used for recreation like mine! You'd think the manufactures would see how hot the used 2 stroke market is and what people pay for them...more than what they were brand new! DUH! A lot of people like speed, power and agility for non race use! 2006 is 4 years away. Plenty of time to sell thousands!!!! I JUST DON'T GET IT!!!!!

The reason nobosy is making one is....

THEY DON'T GIVE A **** ABOUT US!!!! The only company that does is Cannondale but they couldn't afford to put a 2 sroke quad out on the market(already talked to them about it) but they have one helluva 4 stroke, the only one really worth buying,IMO. Also there are some laws about certain amounts of emissions a company can produce each year, and everyone except Cannondale has more than bikes/quads that take away those "emission points". KNOWSALOT, if you read this post, whats up with this KR250RR? You usually know whats going on so elaborate on this for us if you can.

Have you driven the new C-dales?? I've heard great things. I've heard it's almost like an R by some and even better by others. What's your take? I thought about selling my 2 buzzbombs for a Speed but I'm not sure that's a great idea. How can a 4 stroke, even at almost twice the displacement keep up with 250 racers? I know it has fuel injection but there has to be more to it. By the way, what do you mean by saying C-dale couldn't afford to make a 2 stroke? I didn't think it was more expensive to build.
