Just bought a 99, pretty much stock with a 14t and K&N and a free pair of thor t20 boots from a dealer for 3750 OTD. I think I got a good deal, does it sound good? I'll get pics up in a couple days. Cant wait to ride!

It does need front tires and some work on the plastic, but it should clean up nice

I got it at the local multi-brand dealer here in town. The only thing he dont sell is Honda. I worked the owner of the dealership for over a month on this quad. I got him down from 4295.

Quadfather, I know I can get new ones, but I really cant be buying anything right now, I got a layoff notice on the friday after I sold my polaris. So my last day is May 24th. I told My wife and kids I would take the summer off before i go back to school in the fall. I am eligible for 113 weeks unemployment, plus school and moving expences(sp) should I deside to relocate for a new job offer.
Any way, too make a long story short, My wife is not too happy that I bought the EX knowing I might need the money later
I joined the ex forum tonight too, quadfather so I'll see you there.

las year October 2001, I got a barely ridden 2000 400EX for $3800.... and it had a K&N airfilter and aluminum nerf bars on it...

and when I say barely ridden, I mean the battery was dead, and not even a scratch on the front A-arms

but, yeah... I think any year 400EX in great shape for under $4k is a nice deal
