what is the top speed on the 250ex stock? what are the cheap mods that i can put to improve top speed?

 

The top speed on a 250EX is about 50-52 mph. If you want the top speed to increase you can buy a k&n jet kit and air filter. Also go buy a pipe and silencer. I hear the procircuit ones are good like the t-4.
They have the silencer for it,but not the header. I'm not too sure if anyone makes big bore kits for it. It's just too small to worry about that. If you wanted a higher top speed and everything why didn't you just get the 300EX or maybe even the 400EX???

to tell the truth, i dont wanna go THAT fast, and i dont want a chain or manual clutch, so i think if i mod my 250ex out and just get 60 out of it, i will be happy.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Hey, you can see the mods for my 250EX below, if you want more top speed you need taller tires and some mods like mine, the only difference between me and you is i want shorter tires for torque!!

To be honest with ya bwarndog21 i have no idea, i would guess prolly around 55-56 , just guessing. If ya have any more questions just ask.

 

Well,if u want 60 your still going to have to invest alot in the 250.
The 300EX I think goes somewhere around 60. I'm not sure haven't rode one yet.
