Does anyone have a new HONDA RANCHER 350 with the Electronic Shifting Program. Has anyone had a trouble with the feature? Especially after 2000 miles or more.

I temporarily lost access to reverse after a wire was pulled off a sensor, after reconnecting I haven't had any issues, at about 1800 miles.

NEWHOLLAND,
CONTRARY TO WHAT MOST PEOPLE SAY ,IT IS A POOR COLD WEATHER FEATURE. I WON'T RECOMMEND THEM TO MY CUSTOMERS AT ALL ,BUT IF THEY INSIST I TELL THEM NOT TO BLAME ME. WHAT THEY ARE NOTORIOUS FOR IS GOING INTO A FLAT LINE MODE THAT WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO SHIFT AT ALL ,UP OR DOWN.IF YOU CYCLE THE KEY SWITCH OR ROCK BACK AND FORTH IT WILL CANCEL AND RESUME NORMAL FUNCTION ..HOPE THAT HELPS,CUZ I BET THAT IS WHAT YOUR QUESTION PERTAINS TOO. AM I RIGHT??????????? GOOD LUCK ...

We have a electronic powershift feature on our Ford tractor. They recommend on a very cold morning not shifting it for about 15 seconds to let the oil warm up. Can be this same case for the Honda ESP four-wheelers. This four-wheeler will sit outside covered up, but it will be exposed to the extreme temperatures.
