The 4wheeler was rolled very badly and it ripped all the electrical system off, the plug cap is tight, and yes it is gettin fuel, like i said the stator is new, cdi box is new, the coil is new and the plug is new. yes we have checked the fuses, still no luck though, i have no idea what could be wrong, I meen you would think with all new electrical system that the thing would get fire to the plug, if noone can help me, then before i put anymore money in it i will haul it to honda and be the proud owner of a nice lookin yellow one........lol, i dont care how much they give me for mine, i just want a 400EX that i can actually ride.

I dont know about the voltage, i dont know to check it, but i'm guessing its aight because when you hit that starter button that starter just flies, it has no problem turning it over.

a multimeter will be needed to test your battery voltage and the electrical system.with the key off it should register 12.50 to 12.65 volts.sounds like you need to visit a technician or mechanic.

It could be something as simple as a bad ground or an unhooked wire.

hey, what kind of cdi box are you running now? is it a stocker or is it like a white brothers? i used to have the white brothers and it made my quad REALLY hard to start. their known for making it hard to start especially in the cold weather.

Check your kill switch, I have sat waaay to long being frusterated at the 400 not starting only to find the kill switch got bumped over accidentally. Start simple, then go out from there. If all the stuff was damaged anyway, then you shouldnt feel bad replacing good parts.

is the cdi box a modified one, if it is i have heard that if the battery is even a little low it won't fire.also there is a place by the battery where there is a fuse, if that fuse is blown it won't fire, my dad had it happen in the middle of the riding area.
