Is anyone here working on a conversion with a 250R or 400EX using the new CRF 450 motor. In Dirtwheels and 4Wheel Action there are a couple that done this convert. Not the full race chassis machines, the ones that use an existing chassis is what I am currious about.

It's a pretty expensive project to take on. Most people would rather spend the money on a raptor or a cannondale. The engines are also not easy to get ahold of and $$ plays a huge factor in my opinion.

I have heard www.servicehonda.com will eventualy be caring them for way cheaper than buying the whole machine. Anyway the two I have saw in the mags in a 400EX chassis are not in big dollar race form, so where are they getting engines from. If not, I might sell the 400EX and get the new Suzuki Z400, but I feel the CRF450 is probly a lot strong motor than the Z400.
