I want to put an air filter and jet kit on my 2001 honda recon.
I'm looking at the UNI, TWIN AIR, and K&N air filters. Is there much differene between the three of them? Also, what jet kit should I use DYNOJET or K&N? Any help would be appeciated. Thanks!

From what I've heard, the Uni, and Twin filters will filter more dirt, but the K&N will flow more air. Most people will agree that you shouldn't run a K&N in dusty conditions. I would use an Outerwear on the K&N for sure. I run a K&N on days when it isn't dusty, and switch to a Uni Filter on the dusty days.

I can't give any info on a jet kit.

Did you have to change your main jet at all? I was under the impression that if you switched to a less restrictive air filter that you needed to rejet since it would make your motor run lean.

I put a K&N on my Kodiak, and did not have to re-jet.

On my EX400, I put a different exhaust and a K&N, and had to re-jet, of course.

I would not think you would have to re-jet after switching just the filter.

The K&N jet kit and the Dynojet kit are the same jet kit.
