Sheesh. I've had it with this 250R. 1 problem after another. I know they're the greatest made for my purpose, but I can't afford to keep fixing it. I want something to ride, not wrench. I'm tempted to throw in the towel, fix the electrical problem and sell it.

But what would I get? Another 250R? I love the one I have now.. I don't want to sell it, but I'm not going to keep fixing it. Banshee? No thanks. Got one for sale already. 400EX? Possible. Would take alot of money to get it up to my needs though. Z400? Sounds like an idea to me! Maybe I could get $5000 from my R, and get one! I'd like to go with a Cannondale, but.. Maybe if I can sell the R and Banshee!

What is the 2nd best? 250R is 1st.. What's 2nd?

 

Why not the 02 Raptor? I forget, and I did not do a search why you would not consider the that option.

Lonestar- Dude, are you serious? I understand what you're saying but when the R is running, it is SWEET. Well, if you are goin to sell it, I would try to get a Dale or see how those Z400's are. When me and DJ were at Caddo yesterday, I was wheelying out of almost every corner, and I beat DJ out of the gate EVERY time... ofcourse he always ended up passing me and once he did, I got burnt [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]. But obviously thats more rider skill than quad.

 

If you sell that R, you'll regret it!! Second best quad, without a doubt, the Cannondale lineup. We've got a Cannondale quad owner who bought their ride used, bent their frame rails and Cannondale is replacing them free of charge. No better customer service than that!!

 

If you do sell it, the Cannondale's looks like the only real contender with the R on the track(besides highly modded EX's. If you do decide to sell, you should use the money for a down payment on a Moto, and finance the rest. R&S Performancec is financing Moto's for around $200 a month. Just my opinion.

 

Well, we got it fixed. The smell of the Klotz is sooo addicting! If it breaks again soon, its gone. Simple as that.

Chet, Raptor would be cool, but I want to stay away from the carb setup. 2 carbs, 4 strokes... Too much for me.

Cannondale.. YES! That would be sweet. $200 a month is stretching it with a car payment, and insurance too.

 

Yea but after a good 4-5 grand as a down payment, it would be alot cheaper. Anyway, good luck with the R, it looks awesome, too bad it doesn't stay that way[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] if you ever part it out for some reason, give me a holla, I'm contemplating(SP?) putting my ATC motor in a TRX rolling chassis.

 

Those problems weren't really that big of a deal. Yes busting the case was but now you got a new case and A CASE SAVER. The sprocket and chain problem was kinda yalls fault, and the gasket was cheap anyways right? As far as you not getting any spark... I think that was more like a bug that needed to be worked out, rather than a break down. I bet it's gonna be runnin strong now... like I said, you just need to work the bugs out. The moto440 is a joke and a waste of money. I would not even consider getting it. Get the Walsh/Cannable. Best deal out there in atving. 11800 and it has better equpiment than the moto. Walsh aarms, sterring stem, PEP ZPS, RPM axle and carrier, nerfs, bumper, remapping, carbon fiber beadlocks and some other stuff.
