300EX Tippy??

It will not be as tippy after awhile b/c the tires will have less traction(of course). You can get your wheels spaced out a choosen amount of inchs if you want. But if you don't race a lot it's not really needed. If you trail ride a lot you may not be able to go as fast in them b/c of the narrow trail and wide wheel space. It's up to you.

What I like to do when going around a corner is "lean" thats right I lean so the quad doesn't tip! I don't understand it but it sure seams to work for me.
The 250EX is even worse and the 400ex is obviously not as tippy cause of it's wider stance........

WITH BALOONEY STOCK TIRES, ANY BIKE IS TIPPY!! I replaced all the stock tires on my sport bikes with 11" wide Holeshots, on ITP 9X9 rims. These rims are 1" wider than stock or Douglas, and have a 1" greater offset. This gives about +4 wider in the rear, plus you have a square profile tire rather than a rounded balooner. This is a quicker fix than going to a wider axle. Why manufacturers sabotage their own bikes with lousey tires, I do not know!!! Tires and rims are the first mod you should make on any bike.

I've found the 300ex to be very easy to keep all four wheels on the trail, even at high speeds, it just requires some body english. On the other hand if you want the tires to come off the ground it can also be very easy. It all depends on how you position your body. Front and side wheelies are easy to pull.
