If you plan on doing pretty big jumps for hight get new shocks i learned the hard way because everytime you lan it hurts BAD. A new pipe like Supertrapp, FMF, or I heard that Yoshimura was nice. Wheel Spacers would be nice and i think you would be MUCH Happier with the machine.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Change the tires first thing!! The stock tires make the bike push in turns. I went with Holeshots on wider ITP rims, and the bike is now about +4" wider than stock. This helps it be less tippy too.
I put on a MegaMax pipe and K&N, but the result wasn't dramatic. I think Honda already milked all they could out of this engine in stock form.

Yes, i have heard the same for the "250EX" but i know someone with a "250x" and has a DG and it added alot of power and speed. I've heard for the "recon" that the FMF is the way to go but nothing for the "250EX". i was choosing between a FMF or supertrapp for my "250EX".

Simple,go call your local paper put your 250EX in the 100 dollars or less ads,for about 20 bucks. Then go to your cannondale dealer and buy a real quad.
