Hello fellows was looking at a 89 model Honda that a buddy of mine has for sell it is a 2x4 shaft drive needs a coil have any of you owned one like this before and can tell me anything about it.

If its what I think it is and its a 250 it is BULLETPROOF. A good solid no frills Quad.

Hey Kevin,

I thought they quit making the 250 in '87... Reason is I had a '88 300 4x4 and I thought the 300 "replaced" the 250....

Anyway, If it's a 300 - it's still pretty bulletproof.... And rides like a dumptruck to boot

You know Steve I think you are right again!!! I think the Varsol Fumes from cleaning this 300 block are getting to me!!!! The old Foutrax 250 I had was an 87 and I do believe they went to the 300 somewhere around 87-89 ,not exactly sure but I no ther are some pretty old 300's around here . If I hadn't loaned out my master service manual I'd look it up but......well you know how that is.
