i know my homeowners insurance covers anything in my garage.so maybe yours will to.

I would definitely push the issue with the insurance company if the quad was stolen from within the house. I would think there is a difference between someone breaking into your garage and your house.

If not, don't forget to tell them about your mom's jewelry and that nice painting that were also taken that were valued at $3,200. I am sure homeowner's covers that.

Killer, check your policy closer. I doubt it covers quad theft unless you pre-established that it was for farm/work purposes. For my agent, it required being a 4X4 utility quad and I has to establish a need. He visited and decided I didn't have enough work on the 2 acres to warrant a "work" quad. Even having to plow the driveway for an onsite hair salon didn't count. So obviously, it needed separate issurance. I have Progressive. Who do you have?

No alarm or bell would have worked cause I live in a different town now and the house where it was is vacant.

1) Called the cops, they have a lead on who it migth be.
(i think i know who did it)
2) Went riding around in our jeep looking for it.....foudn tracks in someone's yard and they had a real quick excuse about who's tracks they are......THere were the tracks of Ohstu Radials in his yard, he tried to tell me it was my friend tuckers tracks.......too bad he has turf tamers.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] Also on my lawn there was a skid mark from a Bicycle with Maxxis Macdaddy tires......just happend to be the tracks of maxxis macdaddy tires in his yard.

3) Calling soem friends who ride tellign them. BUT I dont want to tell anyone who is buddies with the thief cause then he'll just hide it and destroy it.

4) Calling the insurance company today.

5) WHoever took it was a kid.....they took my trails back to there hosue...went through my trails and down the road.

6) I would love to Kill the kid who took it but most likely I would get my @$$ beat...I'm just a little guy.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

My friend who had his stolen was covered by the home owners insurance. They said since it was locked up and they had to cut the lock to get it it was covered. Might be different with different companies though. Your a better man than I am, if my ride got stolen and I thought I knew who had I would be locked up as well for what I would do.
