I bought a new set of red hand grips for my 250 and I’m not sure if they are going to fit. They are a little bit shorter than the stock ones. Also how do I get the stock ones of f and will I have to glue the new ones on.

If it was me, I would cut the orignal ones off and put the new ones on with hair spray. Hair spray will act like a lubricant to help them go on, but when it dries it will help them stay on.

hey,you can cut them off or use a screw drive slide the screw drive in the end of the grip and spray wd 40 in the end of it and it will slide off. works well for saving the grips. you can use teh smaller ones and just move all the handle bar mounted stuff over to the grip.

I use an air compressor to take mine off and put them on. I do that instead of gluing so when i need to tak them off I dont need to scrape the old glue off and I dont need to buy new grips everytime i need to take them off.

To fix your problem of the grips being shorter, all you need to do is move your controls over alittle bit.
