Hey Truck,
Do any of your buddy's have a wiring diagram? I bought one of these a couple of months ago for my niece. It has hardly been riden, so last weekend I took it out for a trailride. I must say I had a heck of good time on it. The only place I saw it lacking was in hill climbing, but it might just be my big butt that effected that.
I agree with you on having to be in neutral, to start. That was the first modification I made to my Xpedition. I didn't get a wiring diagram with the owners manual like I did with my Polaris, and I haven't really looked the bike over to see how it operates. If anyones got a diagram and would email it to me, I'm sure I could figure it out.

it is really awkward to have to put it in neutral. but it will start in gear these machines do not have a neutral saftey on them with wires so you dont need to dissassembly any wires. only newer machines the 350x 200x 250x 400ex and the 300ex and 250r will start in gear. all the ones i rode did
but it seems like you need to kick it a little more. it could be just me.
