stock 400Ex tires are the best all-around sport ATV tire... PERIOD!

they are good enough to race MX, and they're good in the mud, and they're fine in the sand

i would definately agree. the othsus are a great tire. the only other tire i would try are the turf tamers and thats only if you ride mx. the othsus realy are that good.

Great tires, I have a set on my R, they hook up alot better then my Holeshots ever did. They slide out great. I am in the market for a new set of tires......not sure what I will try next.....Tamers are definatly on the list $34 a tire......very affordable.

I'd stay away from the fast trekkers. I've known a few guys that bought them back in the 80's when they came out, and they were no good for trail riding. They didn't get enough bite. The Ohtsu's are a great tire. They really let you get the power to the ground.

thay work great everywhere ....except super sticky mud......it took me about 45 minutes to get it out of a mud hole that was about 3 feet by 3 feet and 6 inches deep......that was the worst 45 minutes of my life..... about 5 miles from camp and noone in sight finally i managed to get enough sticks under the back tires to get traction to pull itself out while i was pushing and gassing at the same time

The stock tires handle OK and they are light, but to fragile for the desert. I replaced them with ITP Holeshot XCT's (6 ply rear and 4 ply front) right off the bat.

The stock tires are great!!. They hook up great in any type of terrain. I run them on my race bike. Love em!
