Anybody that has these tires and size on their 400 or anyone they know that has this size, tell me how they overall work on the machine. Is it too much tire for the machine or is it alright, if so maybe a smaller countershaft sprocket would help.

Tried it, hated it. For me, it killed the handling around turns and I lost the low end zip needed to clear 3 sets of back to back doubles.

If you are into slower paced trail riding and have trouble clearing ruts then it might help you.

well i have 22-12-9 itp spider tracs that i bought for my winter riding last fall. they are really good in the snow but kinda suck in the mud?? go figure. but anyways the tos are really heavy tires and my ex has still been known to hit 70+ with these tires. all the top gncc riders and dessert riders run 22 inch tires. i dont really think they would be good for racing except gncc or desert. but if you get them get the 4ply to save some weight and you dont have to worry about the big tires clearing any nerf bars because they do might be a bit of fender rub but that wont hurt anything. if your gonna run big tires i would really recomend a exhaust system. fmf, curtis sparks and pro curcuit all make good system's and the k ank power kit really wakes up the ex. also a high comp piston will help. and dont be afraid to tear into youir top end. i tore down my ex and that was the first time i ever did a top end. as long as you got the manual you will be good. hey ill leave a link to my ex pix so you can see what it looks like with 22's also the razars are a really good tire and the ground clearence will help out too. check out my pix here
