I know some guys that race 125CC dirtbikes and they have the exact same mindset about quads they say "get a dirtbike man you will kill yourself on the quad thing thats crazy, and oh by the way dirtbikes are more extreme than quads."

LOL, not ****. Where's the logic in that?

Thrust, I know what you're saying and I feel the same way, but I know that that quads are a bit more dangerous. But it's just that we feel more comfortable on quads than we do bikes (or atleast I do) so what I feel kind of contradicts what my common sence tells me. As far as I go, I would be more dangerous on a bike because I suck at riding them and would prolly go down right on the landing .

I tried to ride a dirt bike once, I started off and was hauling **** well about 30, then I lean to the right to much....the bike goes to the right. along with me. I go sliding but I get up and ride it back cuz I had elbow pads on so,I was ok. I'll stick to the quad.

ok so here goes my 2 cents worth.
i race both quads and bikes.i'm an A rider and race the pro classes at the local level.now i truely belive that both machines are equally dangerous,i race them each weekend.they are both extreme machines.now the level at which one considers them extreme is up to the individual.
you can't really say that the atv's are more extreme becuase they are more dangerous.or vice versa about the bikes.
i have a love for anything i can ride in the dirt.and 99% of any atv rider or dirtbike rider i've come across has never had anything negative to say about the other sport.
so i guess my take on the matter is that that both bikes and quads are both very dangerous machines if not respected and feared and both are very extreme.

im a quader myself, i have more fun on quads, but for whipping a 200lbs bike around is a LOT easier, sorry to say, but on the track, i think dirtbikes are more fun, you can LEAN.

I think both are equal in the Extreme factor!! She may have said that cuz the bikes go faster and higher, who know, they are both sweet, I had bikes my entire life and before I bought the Raptor, I thought, no way will I ever have fun on 4 wheels, but now, I think quads are great! ust as extreme, both have good and bad points.. as you have all mentioned

It all depends on where you're riding at. If you're riding in the woods, a quad is much easier to ride, but if you go to a track, then it's alot harder. Especially when you're on a track designed with bikes in mind.
