300ex vs. warrior
#11
It all goes back to what you are going to do with the quad. Are you going to race it, mod it, trail ride. What kind of terrain are you riding in? There is a need for more information on what your going to be doing with it. Give some more information and you would get a lot better answer to your questions. Another thing, if you just do a little research you will find an abundance of information on both of these quads. Hope this may help.

I agree with everyone else, If you like to just cruise the trails and occasionally climb some hills u will liek the warrior, But if you like to bring it up on the back wheels, slide around and hit jumps like a teenager (me........lol) thatn you will want the 300EX.

300ex all the way
put a megamax II, some new tires/rims, and a k&n filter, itl smoke a warrior with the same mods....i have anyway , both are fun i guess, i like the honda tho, light, easy to play arounbd on, a few people that have riden mine after the aftermarket fmf,k&n, and holeshots, say its the perfect quad for trails, and mx...for them anyway.....but the pipe, and filter DID give it boost in fun , my only complaints are, its a bitch to get into neutral sometimes, and reverse is a pain... if i wasnt to big for it (5'10 230-240 lbs) id keep it instead of trying to sell it for money towards a z400......i have had a TON of good times on mine, and the next owner will hopefully have good times also

I have a question.. Iv never ridden a 300ex, how would its power compare to a 91 kx80 with pro circuit pipe and boyseen reeds? its fast, goes about 65mph, and can smoke an older 125. Does the 300ex have a powerband being a 4-stroke? Like my 80? Its got a powerband that kicks in hard! and it wheelies for the sky. how does it compare? stock?

If your 80 runs like any other 80 I have seen it will beat a 300ex.
Everything has a Powerband I guess, but being a 4 stroke you can't really feel the "instant hit" of power like you can on a 2 stroke...So to answer your question....No, the 300ex won't feel quite as pronounced as your dirt bike.
Take care.

ITS WILL HAVE A TOTALY DIFFERENT POWER FROM WHAT YOU ARE USED TOO. I USED TO RIDE DIRT BIKES THEN I GOT A 400EX. THEY HAVE POWER BUT NO THE WAY A 2-STROKE DOES. A FOUR STROKE HAS LOTS OF POWER ALL THE TIME. A 2-STROKE ONLY GETS THE POWER IN THE POWERBAND. ITS LIKE COMPARING A SEMI TRUCK TO A SPORTS CAR.

unless you have a quadzilla
stuff a zilla engine into a 250R frame, is that possible??? But first, mod the zilla engine
