I'm getting ready to repack my E-Series for the first time this weekend. Just wondering if anyone new the rivet size I needed to pick up.

When I did mine(FMF Turbine Core), I replaced the rivets with small bolts, and a little loc-tite. Works just as good and is easier than rivets!

 

Is there a special packing for this application, or do you just use fiberglass insulation?

 

My neighbor and I did our's at the same time, and he used the "special" packing and I used the fiberglass insulation, my bike is quieter and hasn't caught the insualtion on fire, so it should be fine!

I thought about using bolts or screws but they almost always seem to rattle loose and they don't look as good either. I think I'm going to stick with the rivets. I just don't want to have to buy the ones WB sells (6 rivets for $2.95 is highway robbery - especially when you have to pay shipping.) I was hoping someone knew the size so I could just go down to the hardware store and buy 30 for $1.
