Honda,
The K&N works really well. I highly recommend getting the precharger to go along with it. Just a little extra insurance and almost a must have for dusty conditions, IMO. I like the K&N however, it doesn't seem to fit in my air box as well as I would like. The air box on the Lakotas SUCK! I'm thinking of going with a clamp on instead. If I do I'll use another K&N, however for using my air box, I'm really thinking of switching to a UNI.

If I remember right, I paid about $20 for mine.
If you bent the filter, make sure you didn't tear the paper element. Hold it up to a light and look through it. Also, pending on where you bent it, make sure it seals good.
What was the prob.?

Yeah that filter was the biggest pain in my @ss to try in get in. It gets better after a while but it will still be hard to get in, its mainly that pole thing in the airbox the makes it hard to put in, along with the hump in the airbox, and make sure the whole thing is on, I almost made that mistake once.
