I noticed that the 250 doesn't come with a pull start. Is this something that can be added? Is it a fun quad for someone who knows how to ride but can't justify spending over $5000 for a big quad?

 

The Recon has the same motor as the 250EX and it has a pull-start so it probably could be done.

The 250EX is a good machine but it is a little on the small side and if are a very aggressive rider you will max out the suspension very easily.

I had a 250 ex for awhile and a new recon. They are both decent bikes but cold natured when first started. I'd go with the recon though the 250 has more pep. The 250 ex throws mud all over you and piles mud about 5 inches high on your feet, as I guess most sport bikes do.
