I am wanting to buy a new quad. right now i have a warrior but it just isnt pwerful enough and i am faced with the decision on what to buy. i dont really like raptors or ds's but i like the 400ex alot but since this new z400 came out i dont know what to buy could you give me some help or opinions. liie on what you would pick

 

i have ridden both many times and i would have to take the z it seems to be faster and have all the awsome handling of the ex

 

The Z is a notch above in power and a few odds n ends like liquid cooling, reverse and stuff for the same money. It does everthing equally as well and better in a lot of instances like power.

 

Z and KFX are today. 400ex is yesterday. Plus the ex is gonna be unchanged for 2003 so don't hold your breath for honda upgrade just yet. But I'm sure it will be a great quad whenever they get to it.

 

BUT-Around here, you can pick up a 400EX for the price of a Warrior or even 300EX!! So, if cost is a concern...

Ok but I have a question, I haven't been riding lately and need to catch up. I've seen the Z 400 but whats the KFX 400??

Each one of the bikes are fun to ride. I'd pick either the 400ex or the Z400 (or its twin Kawasaki). If you absolutely need reverse, get the z400. It's a first year model, so there may be some recall issues down the road. I love my 400ex, and I've been riding ATV's for 20 years. You just really gotta get what you personally like. Top speed really doesn't matter unless all you do is drag race. Good luck with your pick!!!
