Carb Adjustment Tool
#1
I'm searching for someplace to buy a "specialty" screwdriver I once saw
at a ATV tune-up shop. It is a plaintip screwdriver type tool but has a long shank that has a 90 degree turn at the end. The plaintip bit on the end turns as you turn the handle. The shank doesn't turn because the handle and bit are connected somehow inside the shank. With my "fat" fingers I can't even come close to adjusting the idle mixture screw on my wife's Honda Recon. It's on the bottom of the carb and there isn't enough room to get my fingers in there (or even a very short regular screwdriver) so I can lean out the mixture slightly to stop the frequent backfiring on deceleration. This "screwdriver" is the perfect tool for the job I'm sure. Just trying to locate one. I thought a flex-shaft screwdriver would work but there still isn't enough room to get at that mixture screw. Thanks for any suggestions.
