The 250R is a two stroke.....a whole different animal than your warrior. What mods does the 250R have?? If its totally stock sell your warrior and buy it!!! But also take into consideration that a 2 stroke has more maintenance. If you want to just ride around put put with your friends,keep your warrior. If you want to sacrifice your low maintenance for high performance then buy a 250R and carve the trails and rule the tracks.
Its a great all-round quad.

I don't see it as more maint. then a 4 stroke seeing as you dont need to adjust valves or **** around with a cam chain. Rebuilt it every year or two or less depending on how much and how hard you ride it. Going from a warrior you wont want to mod it out alot at first. THe 30hrs. is totaly BS, more like 30 hours since its last rebuild. What year is this "250R" ? If it's an 86 or 87 $4200 is a bit redicouls IMO, even for an 88 or 89 its still high.

As far as being reliable, a 2-stroke can be very reliable. Use a good quality oil, such as PJ1 Goldfire, clean & oil air filter after every ride, & change crankcase oil every 3 to 5 rides. Plus, rebuilding a 2-stroke is cheap & easy. About the cost, I don't know, but if you have the money it will be alot more fun than that Yamadog!

If it's got 30 hours on it, he's looking to unload it before he has to do another top-end and save himself $150.
If it's really cherry, I mean spotless/beautiful, $4200 might be an "OK" price; that's what cherry ones are going for out here, and that's with several mods and a set of paddles thrown in (and this is for 86-87s). The 88-89s go for more.
Completely stock? Really? Very rare machine.

You want to make it "race ready?" Well, you sure you want to do that? It's actually "race ready" right from the factory, that's what they were made for. You want to do all kinds of mods, well, how fat is your wallet? I can easily recommend mods that could bankrupt you in a heartbeat!
