I would like to see a new and bigger EX too but I doubt a patition will change anything.

My Z400 is my upgraded 400EX. I loved the EX but I got sick of waiting for Honda to come out with their new quad. And the new Honda will cost more than the Z400 and 400EX and probaly won't have reverse so it doesn't make sense for a trail rider to wait for the new quad. If I was a racer I would either wait for a 450EX or get a Cannondale.

 

i think that they should change the crf450's piston by adding a skirt to it, and make it electric start, so that they could put into an aluminum quad frame. that would be awesome

 

I went to the track last night and saw some guy with a crf450 in a quad chassis sweep the four stroke class. I dont know what honda is doing. They could change the motor mounts and put it in a 400ex chassis. Maybe change the gearing and beef up the clutch to get it ready to run on four wheels, but as long as they dont detune the motor they will have the fastest bike at the track. Or they could make a twin spar aluminum chassis...

 

Me! There's not a chance of catching a fart in the wind of me buying a 400ex.
