I am a little upset, my 2000 Honda 300EX has been for sale in my local trader paper and out in my front yard on & off since end of Feb. and no bids or anyone even interested. The quad is in mint condition! What gives guys, is everyone buying new because of low interest rates or just nobody wants smaller quads with all the 400s and 660s out now. Helllppp

What year is it and how much are you asking? Do you have a pic of it up on the ad?

It is a 2000 model with about 35 hours on it. I was asking $ 3,600.00 or best offer and did not have a picture in the paper.

I don't know how much quads go for in Ohio, but a 2000 300EX would be lucky to draw even 3000.00 here in the South regardless of condition. You can buy a brand new 2003 model down here for just over 4000.00

We sell Honda,Yamaha,Suzuki,Kawasaki,Cannondale, and KTM. We also take trades with all of these models. The Honda's go faster than the others when it comes to used machines.

If you are serious about selling you need to get a picture of it up.

I sold my 98 300ex last year for $2500. Sport bikes don't hold value as well as utilities. That's what stinks about buying a new vehicle. You better be sure it is the quad you like because as soon as you take it off the dealer floor, it loses big $$$. Buying a used bike you can try it and if you don't like it then sell it for pretty much what you paid for it. Not true though for new machines.
Value has a lot to do with your location and local rider interest as well.

I know what you mean. Last summer it took me 4 months to sell my '95 Foreman 400 I got $3,100 for it and I had just rebuilt the engine. My CR is up for sale and people have been calling on it like crazy but nobody's wanted to test ride it. I wonder what my X is worth. Anybody got any ideas? The only thing I've changed on it since I posted the pics in my signature is diff handlebars, grips, graphics kit, and number plates.

Need4speed, your 300X? What exactly is it? A 300ex motor in a 250x chassis?
