Is porting only good for top end????
#1
After trying to get my 250R to run the way I want it, the motor configuration I ended liking the best is using the stock ports. Anytime I had a ported cylinder, be it stock or Pro-X, I would loose too much low end. Does anyone know of a company that can port my cylinder that actually HELPS the low and midrange? Thanks in advance.

as far as i know you can get a port job for bottom end power but another good way to get torque is compression get an aftermarket head with smaller domes you can get a lot of pull I have 17cc domes on my banshee and it has 190 pounds of compression more torque than any other banshee Ive ridden

I think you should look at duncanracing.com or ftzracing.com they look like good places to me. Duncan has a lot of good combos. FTZ has a lot of experience in two strokes cause they race the sprint cars that have the two cycle engine in them and they are really successful at it too, plus they have the great alcohol conversions. LRD is also a very good place. look at them all and/or call them and ask them what they can do for ya. I have the catalogs from Duncan and FTZ so I could a little bit.
