Hey guys, been a while since I last visited here. Anyways, I was over putting new 8k axles under this guy's 32' gooseneck trailer, and he comes up to check on things on an '87 350 2WD. I never saw these 2WD's sitting in the dealer's floor, and I told him that, he said that he bought it new in '87 from the dealer, it appearently was a prototype before the infamous 300's were put into production. The reason why he bought it, was because he knew the dealer real well, and the dealer was testing it out(appearently a few dealers had them sent to them for testing for Honda) and the dealer really had no use for it after the initial testing period, so he sold it to this farmer/rancher for like $2900 with like 10 hours of test trail riding on it. I looked it over some, here's the few things that I noticed about it: It has the stock 350 4x4 plastic (red/orange) 25x12x9 back tires, 24x9x11 fronts, double A arm front suspension (that's what makes me think it's a pre-300 series machine) shaft drive, full racks front and back, tow hitch, three headlights-one handlebar, two frame mounted, dual tail lights, electric start backup kick, five speed auto clutch w/reverse, and a few other typical honda traits. I instantly fell in love with it!! telling him that I would give him back his $3,000 for it!!! He continued to decline, he did however let me take it for a spin!!! Let me tell ya, this is one torquey machine for being 13 years old and completely "stock". I could yank the wheels in third gear, and I bet it topped out around 57 or 58 mph!! I know it doesn't sound all that great, but I have an '87 4x4 and it doesn't do anything like this sucker does! It turns alot better than the 4x4s and the old 250s, handles better than the both of them, and a little faster on the top end. I was just wondering if any of you have seen one of these "prototypes" around, cause I would like to own one. If you have anymore questions about this bike, then ask, I might remember enough to answer it for you. Thanks

350XX, 250R, 200XX, 450S, 300 2WD, 350 4x4(broken)
