What happenes when you hit the rev limiter. I havn't let mine rev up that high yet.

 

Your ignition starts cutting off the spark signal, basically shutting down the engine. As the engine speed drops below the rev limit due to no spark, the ignition kicks back in and revs the motor up again. If it goes over the rev limit, the ignition cuts back out. Chances are you have actually hit the limiter and didn't know it because it all happens so quickly.
