84 200 Honda

I ride with 2 of them one of them broke the bottom frame rails while jumping snow piles. They just welded it up and it is as good as new. The other one I ride with put all new plastic on it and it really looks good. Both have been put through the ringer and still run great. Buy the way how much were they asking for the one in the paper.

Yeah the 84 TRX 200 does have High/Low/Reverse. That was the first 4 wheeler I ever had and man do i wish i still had it. The front J-arms on is what makes the handleing so bad and also it having 25 inch tires in the back and only 21s in front. I bet id you put 22x7x10 or 22x8x10 it would be alittle better. That is if they would fit and nope rub anything. The same thing happened on my 200 is theframe broke so i had it welded and i was back on the trail. I sold that think for $1000 and i bet i could have gottin 1500 for it. The other day i bought an 85 fourtrax 250 i have to do somethings to is before i can ride it but i am hoping it has as much ***** as the 84.

I have an '84 200 and an '86 250. They were my grandfather's. The '84 sat in his shed for close to SEVEN years. He had it covered in the corner. After he passed away, I took it to the shop. They pulled the carb, cleaned it and drained the tank. I put a new battery and air filter and it ran like new! The '86 250 doesn't have the high/low range and NEVER ran as sooth as the 200 did, even when it was new. I have seen some for sale for around $1,400 in "good condition". If it's been kept indoors and maintained properly, it's propbably worth close to that. I'm never selling mine. It was free and it's the first year Honda made a four-wheeler.
