What is a sport 400I

It is 378cc 2 stroke cvt semi sport quad that polaris used to make.Same as a scrambler 400.For the type of racing and riding yo are talking about,the sport400L is tough,hauls butt in the straights,turns OK at best.Granted most banshees will beat it,but let on sleep on the sport.Like a shee,a pipe really wakes it up.

Boy KNOWSALOT you said it correctly there.

The curtains haven't been pulled on me yet and even with all the hours riding time I have accumulated I still watch the road surfaces closely for a potential hit, but you read about quad accidents in the paper a lot and I would assume most are inexperienced riders who don't realize how the machine will react at speed conditions.

Hitting a nice sized pothole and the reaction of the quad throwing you off is not a pretty site.

In stock form the Cannondale is the quickest from what I've seen. I've also watched stock Cannon's beat piped Raptors. If your going to race in the woods or MX the Cannondale is the machine. But that Banshee will fly in the dunes with pipes. Personally I like my Z400 but if I was going to start racing again I would buy a Cannondale.

 

You can make those Shee's so fast that it won't even throw you off the back... it'll just bury you into that big ol' seat and scream like a scawlded assed ape while everyone else wonders what just hppened.

Seriously though, if all you really like to do is haul ***, buy the shee. It's not the fastest stock, but pipes, big bore kit, hi-comp. piston, and a few other goodies will make that S.O.B. fly.

 

for the price you pay for a cannondale they better be the best out of the box. Even the cheapest one is 7 grand. I bought my bike for 5 grand and if i put that 2 grand into it i bet it would keep up with the cannondale.

 

you can do a lot for 2 grand........ a lot! i believe that mettertigers siad that he wanted the fastest quad for the <u>PRICE</u>, i still think a Z-400 or a banshee would be the best. where i live they usually sell shee's BELOW dealer cost at the end of the season.

 

YALL ARE SO STUPID if you wanna burn shee's and raptors and cannondales and all that crap get a Lt 500 that will burn them

 

lt 500 quadzilla will smoke almost anything ina drag.Especially after you send motor to trinity racing.For the 2000 you invest in a four stroke youll get twice as much for a 2 stroke and no polaris 2 stroke can keep up with zilla or banshee there to heavy.

 

finding one would be harder, but i know what you mean. do the CR250 and 500 have the same mounting spots? if so then it would be easy to make a trx500r
