I had a CR 80 before I got my 300EX. I thought that I would miss the hit of a 2 stroke but I don't. I am very happy with my desicion. I can do a whole lot more on a quad than a bike. But which ever you get you will be happy.

daang b(250rman), your dad might want to get his LT500 checked out! i beat a piped 400EX with a jet kit on my stock LT250. i've beaten other 400's as well. i'm not dissin the 400EX. i think they're good 4 strokes. i've only heard good thinga about them from the owners. i'd go with one of those over a 300EX anyday if i had the choice. but i love the 2 strokes.

I am 16 in June, I had a 1998 CR80, broke my leg, sold it, got another 1999, traded it in for a 300EX.

I had a cr80 expert. I'm sure you know it is the one the size of a kx100. anyways I raced mx on it
a few years. I out grew it so I got a 97 300ex. we got rid of my bike for $1200 and bought the 300ex for only $2000 so we only have 800 in it.anyway I'm 15,I will be 16 in Oct.,I have a broken leg so I can't ride for aleast 4 more weeks. oh it sucks! oh yea where ya from? I'm from TX. well see ya.
