400ex suspension

I'm looking into getting a new suspension for my 400ex. i love jumping and im afraid of putting to much stress on my frame. have any idea of a good suspension thats good for jumping and hitting hard bumps. thanks

I don't think you need to worry about putting too much stress on the frame. If you are getting 20 feet of air, that is another story, but I wouldn't worry about it. For motocross and hardcore trail riding, it should hold up just fine. I wouldn't worry.

A few months ago I was at a local mx track located in South Florida. There was guy racing a stock 400ex and taking on a triple lap after lap.

If you do want big air. You can spend anywhere from 300.00 (set of Works Steelers)to 1200.00 for a set of full tilt boogie Axis fronts. Extended A-arms 500.00 and still not be into the rear shock. You could spend another 800.00 easy on swingarm and revalve. I agree that if you arent doing the big stuff. Stay stock. Dont worry about the frame. Youll know when you need to upgrade. Its usually when you bottom out so hard you need dental work.

get +2 a-arms and pep zps or axis or tcs
