I dont really know the answers to your questions, but...
the 250 isnt really the best all-out drag racer... 1/4 mile???? 24, 25 seconds? maybe more... it would be topped out and cruisin down the last half of the track at 50 MPH.
Whatever your modified 3 wheeler is... im sure it would beat it.

race between:stock (not broken in at the time) 2002 250EX vs. decked out '98 240 Blaster (pipes, reeds, 240 kit, jetting, MX tires, different gearing, nerfs, K&N Filter, etc.)
terrain: hardpack
distance: i dont know exactly, maybe 1/4- 1/8 mile?
date: late November, 2001
winner: i only tried this race because back then (i had owned my quad for about 2 weeks or so) i didnt realize the difference in power of a 2-stroke compared to 4-strokers. thinking i had a shot, i start racing him. he IMMEDIATELY roosts ahead of me for the rest of the strip and leaves me behind for good. i contribute his easy win partly because my 250 was stock at the time and i was just learning how to shift. i'm alot faster (and better at shifting) now so if i ever race him again (being that he's good friends with me, i will) i'd at least have a shot. i now have a T-4 complete system for my 250 and he has a 260 kit for his blaster. now i gotta get a big bore kit from powroll and i'd be set.
