250 EX vs Blaster :(

No way your going to get the auto clutch 250 4stroke to beat a lighter manual 200 2 stroke. If you want to beat your going to have to go to a high performance quad like a Z400 or sumthin

No i dont agree with toomys post... I have seen stock ex's vs a stock blaster and the beating it or tie ing it most of the time... Both of the riders weighed about the same.. Maby its the exhaust i have not heard good things about fmf's 4 -stroke exhaust...

thunder if your talking about a 250EX beatin a Blaster i don't think so No way the EX would stand a chance.

I dragged a Blaster on my 250EX in stock form and had no problem beating it in a 70yd drag. I have also dragged a warrior and was only 1 bike length behind. I'm not saying the 250EX is a powerhouse or anything but sometimes rider has alot to do with it.

i have 88 250x with some mod e -series pipe etc. and the 250ex had no chance of catching at all ![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

The 250x and the 250ex are very different machines.

One comment: in bike/ATV motocross and cross country classes, 250cc 2-strokes and 440cc 4-strokes race in the same class. How does anyone expect a 250EX (4-stroke) to run with a Blaster 200 (2-stroke)? You have no chance.

exactly my point sparky try racing sum more blasters the one you draged must have been a bad rider or sumthing
